resolvedThumbnails are not showing up on my site. Do I need to install another script for thumbnails to work?
Also there's no "Archives" link on my site, like what's seen on the demo. I can manually add the link, but what would be the page to link it to?

you are using the fotolog theme. while photoq comes with an auto-configuration option for this theme (note that auto-configuration here means that photoq configures itself to work with the theme. installing and setting up the theme according to the instructions of the theme author is still up to you), please understand that i just don't have the resources to also support themes not created by myself. for questions regarding setting up this theme please contact the theme author.
still, i had a quick look at the fotolog homepage and it seems to me that it is well explained there (look for "Instructions to user" the third JPG link) how to setup the archive that shows the thumbs.
Note, what is shown there in the first JPG is what photoq automatically does for you, i.e. you don't have to create any custom fields on your posts.
