Is there any easy way to tell PhotoQ to publish something from the queue at some time in the future other than by setting up a chron job? Typically, I upload all my future images, publish them all then dash into WordPress and reschedule publication for some time in the future. This results in the images being published for a minute or so while I'm in the process of rescheduling the publication time.
Set future publication time/date?

no there isn't. as you point out posting to a future date was intended to be solved via the cronjob feature.
i however, also see your point, let's say i have a "christmas" photo that i want to post at the appropriate date. to achieve this via the cronjob i have to place it at the correct position in the queue such that it gets posted on the correct date, which is cumbersome.
at the same time, a mechanism to post photos at specific dates should not interfere with the standard queue posting process. i will give it some more thought to see how one could integrate something like this nicely. i therefore also move this post to the requests section (because i guess your next post would be a request to add sth like this anyway ;-)).
ps: please also quickly check my latest comment on the other post you left on the 404 error issue. thanks.
