resolvedI know I must have screwed this up when I migrated my site to the new host, but I have lost my thumbnails when I view the photos in the queue. I notice that they also don't show up when I upload them and go to put in the info about each picture.
Any ideas on what I might have messed up?
most probably a problem with php memory limit on your new server. you can try to increase the memory allocated to php via your htaccess file. you can find here under bullet 10.2 how to do this: http://www.whoismanu.com/photoq-wordpress-photoblog-plugin/#troubles
Thanks for the help! I tried added the php_value memory_limit 32M line to my .htaccess file in public_html, but it crashed my site! No matter where I put it, and no matter what value I put in for memory, it would crash my site with a 500 error. Removing the offending line brings the site back up.
Is there another way to increase the memory allocated to php?
It's really weird, this problem. I am not getting any kind of an error on the queue page. No warnings or anything. In the photo upload section, where there should be a thumbnail for you to enter the title and desc, there is just a link to the picture (the text of the link is the file name with no extension) at http://www.therybaks.com/wp-content/imgdir/qdir/%picname%.jpg. Then, once you enter the info and save, it brings you to the queue, and instead of a thumbnail, there is a link to the picture (this time the link is the title that was given in the batch info screen) at the same spot in qdir.
So, I am not seeing any problems, just links rather than thumbnails.
Does this still sound like a memory issue? If so, see my above comment about adding the memeory line.

or if it exists it does not seem accessible. this is the file that creates the admin thumbs. so as long as we are not able to access it, there is no chance the admin thumbs will show up. here http://www.whoismanu.com/wp-content/plugins/photoq-photoblog-plugin/lib/phpThumb_1.7.8/phpThumb.php you have the example of my page that shows you what one should see if one accesses this page.
can you check whether it exists on your server? can you also check its permissions?
It's weird. The file is there, and it has 755 permissions. I changed it to 777 permissions, and it still doesn't work. I tried a few of the other php files with no luck. I copied the photoq readme.txt file to that directory, and it comes up with no problems. So, it looks like there is something preventing that file from running.
I guess I need to defer to my hosting company at this point?
Damn... I fixed it but I don't know how. I noticed that several other plugins seem to be acting weird. So, I deleted my ENTIRE plugins folder, and restored it from a backup. Now, everything is working again.
False alarm I guess. It's just really weird and frustrating.
