Hi,

Hope you had a pleasant vacation :-)

In the posting of Kenneth Verburg (Wordpress 2.8), dizid mentions the following error: Warning: array_map() [function.array-map]: Argument #2 should be an array in [path]wordpress/wp-content/plugins/photoq-photoblog-plugin/classes/PhotoQHelpers.php on line 281

I have the exact same error when I try to edit and save an already uploaded photo, but only when there is no category checked. When uploading a photo, there is also a http error 500, although the photo is uploaded correctly. I think it has to do with the following:
in Settings / photoQ -> further options, the list that should be displaying the categories in WordPress, is completely empty (this is the dropdownlist PhotoQ Default Category). Thus, a default category can not be chosen, thus, the default category when saving a photo is giving an error. Of course I could be wrong, but I think this is the cause. I tried to fix it, but to no avail :-(

Some info:
Windows 2008 / IIS7
WordPress 2.8
PhotoQ 1.6.6

(The http 500 error also comes up in WordPress-mu when PhotoQ is installed, but I haven't investigated that further, so I've switched back no normal WordPress.)

Hope you have the time to come up with a solution :-)

Hi, I have a same problem.
I guess its because changes in WP 2.8 DB structure.

"Drop post_category column from wp_posts table, and link_category column from wp_links schemas"

Its a great script and I hope it would be fixed soon.

ok thanks for your reports. looks to me like we had different things here:
1. empty default categories list
2. array-map error message when saving a post in the queue w/o selecting categories
3. 500 error on upload
1. does for once not seem to be photoq error but a wordpress error. the good news is that is has been fixed already. if you get the latest 2.8 build mentioned here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/280256#post-1104991 the problem goes away at least for me. if you don't want to install nightly builds you will have to wait until wp 2.8.1 for this to go away.

2. confirmed, actually i just found this one myself last week and i already fixed it in the release i am currently working on. however, i don't think it is critical (so you will get a fix once the next version comes out): apart from the error message nothing should happen and you can prevent it by always choosing at least one category.

3. i do not have this one on any of my installs. do both of you have this one? and do you also have this with the latest wordpress builds that fixes 1.?

Hi,

My situation:
1. empty default categories list : yes
2. array-map error message when saving a post in the queue w/o selecting categories : yes
3. 500 error on upload : yes, but I do not have the nightly builds installed

I'll wait for WP 2.8.1 and will let you know if that solves the problems.
