I know that the exif data has lens info but displaying this info does not appear to be an option in PhotoQ. Has anyone got this to work?
Thanks,
Mike

In other words, I can see in the exif data that the lens used for a photo was a 35mm f/1.8. How can I display that?

I realize you can add exif data and I have added a bunch already. The problem is that lens type (which I think is in the exif data since I can see it in Lightroom) isn't even an option to drag over.
can you provide me with a link to a photo that has this information in the exif.
lens info is usually stored in a maker specific exif tag. i have canon and there it seems to work but it is possible that with some other make it doesn't. if i have one of your photos, i can see how it is encoded in your case.
Sure, try this one. From a Nikon D90.

Flickr shows the Lens info.
in the file from flickr, the lens info is only present inside an xmp container and photoq cannot read this. i guess what happened is probably this:

Yeah, i searched a way myself to find the exif id of the lens info. Instead this isn't an official exif. Flickr got that data out of the metadata of the picture.
yep, right now i could quite easily add this info for standard nikon exif. but not for the one that you sent me.
