Hi there, great plugin! It's a life saver!

But i'm having a bad time with the rebuild all function. It simply stoped working, and after you click rebuild, and say ok, in the top we see the beggining of the process,, and the bar...after a few seconds, a big red box appears saying "Aborting batch processing due to following error: INTERNAL SERVER ERROR..." I havent changed anything, and cant say what may be causing...i can rebuild each one, but that would be a killer!

Any idea what can be happening? I dont mind sending you my credentials for you to check whats going on..

Ok, after testing some option changes, ive found out the problem is related to the inclusion of watermark image. Mine is a 150x150px png file with text written, it's 10% transparent and tiling, and margins are set to default 20.

I notice and its expected that the rebuild of watermarked photos takes a lot more time, but i dont understand why it stopped rebuilding with watermark..

Oh, changing from tiling to other option (i tested center) works again... so tiling isnt working so great it seems... Can you explain why?

yes i can: tiling takes a lot more resources on your webserver. i guess it just overwhelms yours.

that can be solved by upping the memory in php or any other quick fix?

It seems the watermark is also getting rotated like -30º... I upload a perfectly horizontal text, and it appears rotated.

yes, upping the memory might work. but it might also be that the server reaches the execution time limit while tiling.

concerning your second issue, can you send me the watermark image in question? you'll find my email on my webpage under contact (just don't forget to remove the antispam stuff from the address) thanks.

Hi there, thanks.

I'm a complete zero in coding, but i tried to go my way into the php files.. Ive found out where the code for putting the watermark is, as well how to define more options. I tried to add a rotation option to the interface, which i was able, but in the coding nothing happened. but then i ripped all the part in code that makes possible to change options in interface (ive basically deleted the variables you defined in options, and added some " |c|10|20|20|0" which according to the readme in phpthumb sets the options for watermarks. and that reseted the rotation. Didnt solve the issue about tiling, but i suppose it can be timeout.

Can you help me how i should be able to change myself that or ask serverdudes? right now i have memeory 64mb and timeout 30...my main images are 1400x900 (i know, huge, but need to)

nice page.

i played around a bit with your watermark and with original images from your site (i can get them without watermark from your site by pointing the browser directly to the original dir. i can do this because i know you are using photoq and i know its folder structure. to prevent this, you may want to check out the "hide originals" checkbox option that comes with photoq. otherwise all the watermarking might not fully fulfill its purpose).

with tiling it takes ages but i am not able to crash my development machine. however, as it takes up to 1min for some photos, it is well possible that you run into your script timeout. to change this you probably need to talk to your host. but do you really need to tile them?

however, the angle for centered watermark actually was a bug due to a stupid typo. this will be corrected in the next photoq version.

I havent set to hide originals yet, cause the times ive did that before, i dont know why, but i had to redo all my posts...cause the plugin just kept telling that couldnt find the directory..

For now i have made another png, that i use centered. It suits ok, but tiling is the perfect option against possible "easy cloning" to remove any centered watermarks.. But for now its not a must. The plugin work so great that in time it wont be hard to rebuild with the new watermarking options.

Can you share the bad typo? i'd change that quickly, and be able to keep the options the plugin has.

The angle issue is now fixed in version 1.8.3 of PhotoQ.

Hi there,

I've updated to 1.8.3, but the angle is still wrong. I submit a completely horizontal watermark and it gets a little bit tilted. How about adding the angle as a new option in the rollouts?
