   I installed a new WP (PhotoQ) next to my other WP installation. Everything went fine, able to post photo. But when I go into the settings/PhotoQ tab, I got a 500 error ??.

   Any idea where to search, the orginal Wordpress installation has no problem..

   hm the problem is that the 500 error is not very specific.
   now you say that the photoq management page works but not the options page.
   the only thing i can think of right now is that it maybe doesn't like the option validation that photoq does on the options page. it e.g. checks whether safe_mode is off by querying the ini_get function. what i could imagine is that your server does not allow this.

   you can check whether it works if you turn option validation off:

   • open classes/PhotoQ.php in a text editor
   • look for the line saying $this->_oc->validateOptions();
   • comment it out by replacing it with //$this->_oc->validateOptions();
   • save the file and test again

   Commented out the line, no effect. Also tried to disable / enable the plugin no effect.

   If needed I can given you access to my machine of the WP-admin.

   yes you can do that. but i fear it will probably not tell me much more. but let's see...
