   photoq 1.9 on WordPress 3.0.1. I have fallen behind on my photoblog, finally resuming today since my last post in April. Unfortunately, a gremlin appears to have crept into the system. I can add photos to the queue just fine. But when I go to post one, the following happens:

   I see an error message reading: File '' is not readable

   The following appears in the server error log: Premature end of script headers: index-extra.php, referer: http://monopedilos.com/photoblog/wp-admin/

   The original file is moved from the qdir directory to the original directory

   The photo is NOT removed from the queue; it stays at the top but the thumbnail is replaced with an image saying the file is missing

   A post is created and displays on the photoblog correctly, but in the posts menu in the control panel, no thumbnail is present and the photoq commands (e.g. rebuild thumbnail) is not available

   Any idea what I might do to straighten things out? Thanks!

   from your description it breaks somewhere after publishing the post but before removing from the queue. to see exactly where it breaks, you could complement the publish() function in this file: http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/photoq-photoblog-plugin/trunk/classes/photo/PhotoQ_Photo_QueuedPhoto.php

   with echo statements as follows:

   I added the debug lines but nothing new appears in my apache error.log. Where would this output be generated?

   it will not necessarily appear in your error message. i think it will be rather a bit further up on the page. no?

   I did some more testing and I believe the problem was related to server memory usage. I'm using Dreamhost and they have a 150MB max for php and I was apparently hitting the cap somehow. After disabling some offending plugins and enabling some caching, photoq appears to be working normally again.
