   Ahoi there!

   Im getting the following error when i try to reactivate the plugin after automatic upgrading:

   Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
   Fatal error: Class 'RO_CapabilityCheckBoxList' not found in /var/www/web22/html/wp-content/plugins/photoq-photoblog-plugin/classes/PhotoQOptionController.php on line 1358

   hi,

   probably a problem on your server when it unpacked the .zip file. i just checked and for me both the auto-upgrade and the manual upgrade work.

   the file it claims missing in your case is definitely included release under "lib/ReusableOptions/RO_CapabilityCheckBoxList.php". however, i bet that if you check on your server it will be missing...i have seen stuff like this happening before for other people. normally if you just try again it works.

   if it doesn't, copy the files to your server manually via ftp.

   Hello,
   I've got the same probelm.
   I've tried to upagrade from 1.6 to 1.7 but something happens:

   Fatal error: Class photoqroleoption: Cannot inherit from undefined class ro_capabilitycheckboxlist in /home/surfingl/public_html/sito/wp-content/plugins/photoq-photoblog-plugin/classes/PhotoQOptionController.php on line 1358

   I don't know why.

   I try to upload the plug-in manually via FTP and try otherway but alway have the probelm.

   What can i do?

   I checked the file in the folder wp-content/plugins/photoq-photoblog-plugin/classes
   but everything seems ok.

   Help me please.

   hmmm, not good. do you guys have iq2 and photoq installed, or photoq alone?

   what is the server: windows or unix? apache or sth else? php4 or php5?

   if you have iq2 installed, i now see a possible thing that could go wrong.

   could you try to upgrade iq2 to 1.1 first and only then upgrade photoq?
   or alternatively, temporarily deactivate iq2 before upgrading photoq?

   please tell me whether it works then. thanks.

   switching to another theme did in fact fix the problem :D

   ok i have the solution.

   1)if you have iq2 theme installed and if is on switch off the theme.
   2)upgrade the theme iq2
   3)upload manually the plug-in (via ftp)
   4)switch iq2 themes on
   5)enjoy

   should be ok!
   i fix the problem doing that things

   jacopo,

   thanks for letting us know. i know now exactly why it happens (incompatibility with the old iq2 and the new photoq) but i have no other solution right now than what you wrote about above. only that you can do it in an even simpler way, w/o the manual upload via ftp . the key is to update iq2 before activating photoq. also the auto-upgrade correctly downloads but it is really just the activation of photoq that fails. so if you use both iq2 and photoq you can do one of the following:

   simplest solution:

   1. update iq2
   2. update photoq (through auto-upgrade or manually, it shouldn't matter)

   second option or if you already tried the auto-upgrade and got the error message:

   1. update photoq (if you already did and got the error message you don't have to redo it. you can do this through auto-upgrade or manually, it shouldn't matter)
   2. update iq2
   3. go to plugins and activate photoq

   sorry to everyone for the inconvenience.
