resolvedI just upgraded to WP2.8 and then PhotoQ 1.6.6. Ever since, the images in the PhotoQ don't display. The images that the placeholders link to work fine, but the thumbnails don't show. The image (thumbnail) URL is showing up as:
Seems a bit messed up to me? Everything was working fine prior to 2.8/1.6.6.
hmmm, looks like your page no longer likes relative paths. weird, the following works
but if you look closely, it points to the same image file as the one you posted above.
did you change something else? the permalink structure maybe?
is it a linux or windows server? apache or something else?
I agree. The images are there and they load fine when pointed to directly, but the relative paths are screwing around with them. I haven't changed anything else as of late. No permalink changes, or anything else. Just the upgrade to WP2.8 and PhotoQ 1.6.6.

i still guess it might have something to do with rewrite rules. here is a similar link from my homepage

in your case this happens if you go up one directory
but not if you go up more
in which case you are redirected to a 404 page.
could you try to temporarily disable permalinks (and if this doesn't help maybe also remove any htaccess files) to see what the result is then?
I've changed permalinks to default (?p=x) and I've removed the .htaccess file, but still no joy. It looks like the images are trying to be pulled from the wrong directory now. When I try and open just the image from the front page, the folder the image is supposed to be in (http://blog.lightfast.co.uk/wp-content/photoQimages/main/2009_06/) does not exist.
i googled a bit and the 406 error we are getting now seems often to be caused by the mod_security apache module. maybe your host changed something there.
did you already ask them what could cause the problem? it might be that it somehow forbids urls with more than one "../".
however, in this case it should not work with wordpress 2.7 either. so what you could do is setup a fresh wordpress 2.7 install on the same server for testing and see whether you also have the problem there.
and yes on your server the main/2009_06/ folder does not exist. this i can explain. i guess in the last update of the photoq settings, photoq was just rebuilding this folder and the images therein (from the original images in the /original folder) but it failed due to the problem we are having with the relative urls. so the folder and the images in there got not recreated.
PhotoQ 1.7 no longer uses relative paths for this, so your problem should go away if you upgrade to PhotoQ 1.7

I just installed the latest version of WP and The PhotoQ plugin and get the same problem.
I have no other plugins installed/active and am using the default template.
I'm not going the imageMagik route so I left that blank and the photoQCache directory was created so I assume the plugin has write permissions.
Any thoughts?
