I have ran into a strange issue. When I upload images I get a blank screen after uploading and then clicking "enter info" at the "Save Batch" screen I do not get any thumbnails, etc...
I am using
WP 2.8.4
PhotoQ 1.7
PHP 5.2.11
This just started happening out of the blue, I can't understand why

ok first of all do you also have the pbl with the newest version of photoq?
if yes, blank screens are most often related to a memory problem. try to increase the memory allocated to php (explained on photoq documentation) and/or have a look at these posts:

OK, I upgraded to the newest version of PhotoQ
I also created a test page with the script from the other post.
My limit stopped at 64 MB
Still the page where I would click "save batch" is blank after uploading pictures.
Everything else is there (Wordpress toolbar on the left and header, etc) except for the thumbnails, etc from photoQ

Cool, I figured it out.
I recently upgraded my host to use an SSL cert to keep my credentials safe when logging in.
(Yes, I am a paranoid security freak and take extreme measures.)
Most do not realize that no matter how complex their password is, it is sent in clear text when logging in and a simple app like network miner or Cain and Abel can grab any password in a second.
ANYWAY, when I logged in through http instead of https I was able to upload without any problem. So for some reason I cannot post new images when logged in to the admin console using an SSL secured connection.
No big deal cause I only upload every so often and then work from the queue. So I will just use http to upload. Not sure how or even IF this can be fixed in PhotoQ or WP. I would not even know where to look.
If you have any ideas please let me know. I am just glad there is a workaround.

do the uploads work under https if you disable the batch upload feature (settings->photoq->further options)?
do standard wordpress batch uploads work under https? because if they do there should also be a solution for photoq.

This actually just started happening to me today. I dont have any special SSL settings. I do however have alot of pictures uploaded already. THe weird thing is it was working perfectly fine, I was uploading a couple folders of pictures, then all of a sudden this same exact problem began. I tried the links above but they dont work.
It lets me upload the pictures, I ftp in and see the pictures on the server, but then when you click to the next page with the batch info, its just blank and it never ads them to the queue.
hmmm, i guess it is possible and depends on what executable the cronjob uses. what does your cronjob execute: php, lynx, wget?

- nothing else works: probably your host blocked that, so you can't set with htaccess.
- concerning the warning. what version of photoq are you using? with the latest version 1.8.3 you shouldn't have a warning with wp 2.8.6.
- if i can do the math you should have 128M which is indeed quite high
- how big are your images? do you use watermarks? can you still try to upload a small image to see whether it works then.
- do uploads work with batch uploads disabled?
