I already name ictures before uploading them according to the post title I want them to have in wordpress. But after uploading, there is still quite a lot of work left to tag each one of them. The chances of my connection dying or just getting bored might mean some work is lost if I need o sto in the middle of the process. Now, how about reading the tag information from the image file name as well? This way I could upload a batch and know thaat the only thing missing will be the description, which is unique for each picture, and which I can always process one by one when I have more time. Here is an example. Right now, I am uploading a "01_This_is_a_nice_picture.jpg" to get a post titled "This is a Nice Picture" to appear first in the queue. I need to add tag information and a description after uploading. I would love to be able to upload "01_This_is_a_nice_picture-tags-nice-wordpress-example.jpg" to get the tags "nice", "wordpress" and "example" automatically assigned to that post. I know this particular problem is described in the troubleshooting document, but adding the mod_security directives listed there to my htaccess file did not help my situation. Upon upload using the batch uploader I receive a 403 error and disabling the batch uploader provides a workaround, just as described in the troubleshooting document, but mod_security does not appear to be the issue. Nothing has changed on my server that I'm aware of. I checked php.ini for any strange changes to upload or memory limits and found nothing unusual. I really feel like this problem is identical to the troubleshooting issue and I truly apologize if I'm missing something obvious and am simply cluttering the forum with redundant issues. If anyone has run across this particular issue caused by something other than a mod_security problem, any information would be greatly appreciated. So I cannot publish at all with the new WP/PhotoQ. It would be great if you could give me a hint as to where to look for (and fix) the error. Any idea why PhotoQ loses the uploads in the new version? BTW, the database convert worked without problems, so the published fotos look like they should and can be batch manipulated by PhotoQ, I just can't publish new ones. We use the "All in One Gallery" to display posted pics together in a separate gallery. However, it only works with pics in the media library. I've spent several days trying to get the admin section and the post images page of PhotoQ to work. The problem was that the AJAX/Javascript wouldn't load for PhotoQ and the Robots Meta plugin. Everything else was working. I just couldn't figure out what made it out of whack. Upgraded everything, reinstalled everything, did the plugin dance, hunted through the database, basically flipped every switch there is in wordpress. The problem turned out to be with Gears which I had installed a long time ago. Google said my version was working and up to date but I reinstalled anyway and ta-da: PhotoQ was back to normal. When a file name contains an apostrophe, it gets uploaded OK, but does not actually get added to the queue. Steps: 1. Click Add photos to queue 2. Select and upload an image: it'goingtobreak.jpg --> The page "Enter common info:" appears without an image at all.
