So I have a lot of photos, and it would be great if there was an option in addition to "Rebuild All" that would let you rebuild some of the photos - for example, rebuild posts x through y, with user-entered variables (1 through 100 for example).

Another way to implement this would be in the "Post" page in the administration dashboard. If you could be able to check the boxes next to posts you wanted to rebuild, then under "bulk actions" there was a choice to "rebuild selected" or some such.

Thanks!

Hey, fantastic plugin.

With the easy-to-create custom content types in wordpress 3, I was wondering if it was possible to make PhotoQ play nice with custom post types and taxonomies. I'm currently dumping all of my photo posts into a "Photo" category. But I would really like to wall them off from my blog by implementing a "Photo" post type. As part of this, I'd also like to create an "Album" taxonomy similar to categories, but exclusive to the "Photo" content type. This is easy to do in wordpress, but PhotoQ doesn't see it.

I know that I can create a similar result with categories and sub-categories within posts, but this would be very elegant and scalable. Let me know your thoughts, and I hope to see this feature soon.

Is there a way to set it up so that PhotoQ uploads are visible from the WordPress media library?

We use the "All in One Gallery" to display posted pics together in a separate gallery. However, it only works with pics in the media library.

At alternative would to setup a similar type of gallery page with PhotoQ.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hello

First of all, thanks for the great plugin :)
Second, I'm wondering if it's possible to just use the original uploaded image as main image without duplicating it to create the "main" version ?

The thing is, I optimize and sharpen and prepare the images before uploading, so I really don't want GD to re-compress the JPEG file or duplicate it on the server ...

Does the "Keep original image size, don't resize." setting for "main" do just that, or does it duplicate / re-compress ?

Thanks

I'd like to upload a bunch of pictures into my que and then be able to post them all into one entry..instead of the current behavior where posting a group of photos posts each one to its own entry. is this possible?

Hi whoismanu

When you add photos to queue and then enter common info, what do you think about the idea of also bringing through any custom taxonomies that have been created.

I realize that you have a meta fields option but with custom taxonomies that I have created I have more control over displaying specific information on the theme with built-in WordPress functions.

(PS left a message about wanting to test the WPMU version - Thanks)

Suggestion:

Might be handy to also display the thumb when you choose to quick edit a photoQ post? as at the moment once you have chosen to "quick edit" you can no longer refer to the image for reference when titling it etc.

Hurray for the new paging feature! :)

One slight improvement would be cool: paging with numbers.
Lets say, limit it to max 10 visible numbers at any moment.

Now that I use photoQ, I can really relax about updating my photoblog... :) I relax so much that I tend to forget when my queue will run out and find myself checking the blog every couple of days to remind me...
I *could* set up a calendar reminder, but it would be so much easier if photoQ could send me an e-mail saying there are less that 5 photos left in the queue and that I should probably think about logging into the dasboard and add some more... what do you think?
