Everything worked fine and I never had any problems with PhotoQ, until I updated to version 1.8.1
I did the update last night then I uploaded some images into the queue and went to sleep.
Today I found them posted in a different order. It seems to be random.
Here is an image example: http://www.meh.ro/photoqorderbug.png

I think it only affects the first 3 posts (but I'm not sure)

I noticed a pattern. I put pictures A, B and C into queue:
1.A
2.B
3.C
After picture A is posted the queue looks like this:
1.C
2.B
It seems that when a picture is posted, the second one loses its position.
The pattern doesn't repeat itself immediately, otherwise picture B would've never been posted. I guess the patter is either more complex (chaotic even) than this, or it alternates... one normal posting, one position losing posting.

And I keep having this problem... pictures always lose their position.
Wordpress 2.8.4
meh.ro

Thanks

PS Could you tell me how to safely downgrade to 1.8.0, so I don't lose any content & settings or screw things up? :>
I can live with a slow admin panel, but I can't have this posting bug.

Paul Rose writes:

For some reason, PhotoQ refuses to post the Queue. Regardless of whether I try “post top” or “post whole” it just sits there for a few seconds, then loads a blank screen. When I click on the PhotoQ tab on the Post menu, everything reappears, without having created a new post.

Now that I use photoQ, I can really relax about updating my photoblog... :) I relax so much that I tend to forget when my queue will run out and find myself checking the blog every couple of days to remind me...
I *could* set up a calendar reminder, but it would be so much easier if photoQ could send me an e-mail saying there are less that 5 photos left in the queue and that I should probably think about logging into the dasboard and add some more... what do you think?
