			<description>&#60;p&#62;hi,&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;how would i upgrade from 1.8 to 1.9 by not using the webinterface?&#60;br /&#62;
if i understand correctly my webhoster does not allow external ftp-use. so i would need to upload the files manually. i don't want to mess it up so i rather ask beforehand (-;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;by/e (//)/(()&#60;br /&#62;
ps: oh, and yes: iq2 is v1.3 and wp v301

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Hello, &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I get the error message about the &#34;safe-mode&#34; being on. And that it's best to switch that to 'off'. Is that something I can do, or is it a thing of the host? &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I ask because I seem not even able to put something in a queue: I upload my pix, fill in all the details, and after having done everything, the queue is still empty... &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Any advice welcome

			<description>&#60;p&#62;I am having this trouble when attempting to use PhotoQ:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Warning: PHP GD library does not seem to be activated/installed on your server. GD is however required for this plugin to work properly.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;What do I need to do to get this installed or activated? Is this something I can do myself or do I have to ask my hosting service to take care of it? They don't know what a GD Library is and are looking into it.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I have downloaded gd-2.0.35 but I don't know what if anything I can do with it. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Is the GD library used for generating thumbnails? If so, can I do this manually or is the GD library needed for other things too.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thanks,&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Joseph

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Hello,&#60;br /&#62;
I just downloaded photoq today so I assume it is the most recent version but I am not positive. I am using wordpress version 2.7.1. I created the imgdir in the same folder that the wp_content folder resides in. I changed the default from wp_content to imgdir under further options. When I click on upload photos the only option I have is cancel. I am very new to wordpress and all of this type of thing so please give me the kindergarten version of your suggestions.&#60;br /&#62;
Thank You&#60;br /&#62;
Lynn

			<description>&#60;p&#62;I have installed photoq, and built the file called &#34;imgdir&#34; under wp-content. Then I uploaded photos. <title>timrybak on "Cron job setup error"</title>
			<link>http://www.whoismanu.com/forum/topic/cron-job-setup-error#post-55</link>

			<description>&#60;p&#62;I switched web hosting companies, and now I am using a company that support cron jobs.  So, I set up a job to run /home/timrybak/public_html/wimpq-cronpost.php (which is the correct path according to their tech support, and it reflects what I see in the Virtual File Browser tool).  When the job runs, this is the output I get:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;/home/timrybak/public_html/wimpq-cronpost.php: line 1: ?php: No such file or directory&#60;br /&#62;
/home/timrybak/public_html/wimpq-cronpost.php: line 3: //photoq: No such file or&#60;br /&#62;
directory&#60;br /&#62;
/home/timrybak/public_html/wimpq-cronpost.php: line 4: syntax error near unexpected&#60;br /&#62;
token `'WP_ADMIN','&#60;br /&#62;
/home/timrybak/public_html/wimpq-cronpost.php: line 4: `define('WP_ADMIN', true);'&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;From this, I gather it is finding the php file, but it doesn't like the script.  Am I doing something wrong?  Any help is appreciated!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Tim
