And that it's best to switch that to 'off'. Is that something I can do, or is it a thing of the host? GD is however required for this plugin to work properly. What do I need to do to get this installed or activated? Is this something I can do myself or do I have to ask my hosting service to take care of it? They don't know what a GD Library is and are looking into it. I have downloaded gd-2.0.35 but I don't know what if anything I can do with it. Is the GD library used for generating thumbnails? If so, can I do this manually or is the GD library needed for other things too. I am using wordpress version 2.7.1. I created the imgdir in the same folder that the wp_content folder resides in. I changed the default from wp_content to imgdir under further options. When I click on upload photos the only option I have is cancel. I am very new to wordpress and all of this type of thing so please give me the kindergarten version of your suggestions. So, I set up a job to run /home/timrybak/public_html/wimpq-cronpost.php (which is the correct path according to their tech support, and it reflects what I see in the Virtual File Browser tool).
