It is top notch. The only problem I have with it is that it modifies the porpotions of images by inserting HTML Hight and Width when standard wordpress functions are used by themes like: the_post_thumbnail() My current example is: I want my thumbnails to be 150x150 cropped. If I set wordpress and photoq to those settings, it works ok within the post. However the theme I am using has a recent post thumbnail list and uses:the_post_thumbnail() to get the thumbs. When they appear on the screen it takes the thumbs that are now cropped and displays them with the proportions of the original image. I have fought this for a while and just realized it was photoQ because when I disable the plugin, everything works. I had it working on a site was working on but I never really tried to make use of it. Then WordPress 3.x came and I started having problems with the plugin. I found the Beta version and it seems to be working pretty well. But I'm running into a problem. If I change the description of the photo (and I think other things cause this as well), it inserts some garbage into the post that breaks the HTML being output. If my description is "This is my text", I get something like: <img src="/url/to/image.jpg" title=" This is my text&8816; alt=&8817;my alt text&8816; /><img src="...... I'm using the freeform method since I'm filling a jQuery slider with the tags: <a href="[imgUrl|main]"><img src="[imgUrl|thumbnail]" alt="[descr]" title="[title]" /></a> I'm not sure 8816/8817 is the right code, its whatever the UTF-8 code is for smart double quotes. This code is actually being inserted into the database field for the post content. It works fine when I first upload a photo, it only blows apart if I change the text on the post form. Any idea where I can look to see if I can fix this? I had to replace an image on my blog for the first time this morning. The affected post is saved as a draft and I edited it using WPs "Edit Post" option and tried to replace the image via the file selection entry field in the "PhotoQ Photo" section of the edit page. After selecting the new file, I press "Save Draft" and see: Fatal error: Call to a member function getYearMonthDirPath() on a non-object in /home/photos/public_html/wp-content/plugins/photoq-photoblog-plugin/classes/photo/PhotoQ_Photo_PublishedPhoto.php on line 207 I also tried "Preview" and "Schedule" rather than "Save Draft" but both yield the same error. When I batch upload photos to my blog from my linux laptop, there's a bit of a nuisance in that the window that comes up needs the extension of the photo files to be .jpg, whereas they show up in my camera as ending in .JPG (file systems are case sensitive on linux, as they are (I think?) on OSX). I found that there's a line file_types : "*.jpg;*.gif;*.png", in js/swfu-uploader.js under the plugin directory; I've tried adding *.JPG to that list and will report later on whether that resolves matters (for now I bulk renamed my files to *.jpg before uploading). It would be nice if this could be incorporated into the mainline, if it works, or maybe there's a better place to make the extensions actually case insensitive. I am running wordpress 3.0.1 and PhotoQ 1.9 and ahve wp-cache and googleanalytics as active plugins. and i run a modified iQ2 theme. I have moved the cron file into the root of the wordpress install that also has the wp-config.php file. I have looked at the class and noticed the function is missing inside that PhotoQQueue.php class. and have tried to search all the classes local to that file and it appears to be missing, or possibly renamed. I currently have ftp upload enabled when cronjob runs, auto add ftp uploads to queue. and enable batch uploads enabled and delete image files from server when deleting posts. I have tested the cron job with no files int he ftp folder and it works and makes the post when i transfer files from the ftp folder to the queue manually, but the automatic process is broken. I am making a child theme for iq2 but have the same problem when the original iQ2 theme is activated. In the EXIF photoQ settings I have been adding custom display names for the EXIF titles. However my custom names just get ignored and the original ones liek "TimeDateOriginal" always get shown.
