paula,

right now photoq is one photo per post. so no, at the moment there is no way to have several photos in the same article.
i have it however on my wishlist for some future version. but this will require quite some changes to photoq and i have not yet decided how to do it. this means that i cannot promise you anything about when photoq will have this feature.

now, you say that you can have a gallery with all the photos ever posted with photoq. in this case i guess that you could also in a similar way have a gallery per category or per tag to have something more fine-grained.

I'm using Lightview Plus at the moment and I would love to generate different galleries with PhotoQ.
But the best thing I could achieve, was one big gallery with all the images from all articles I've published with PhotoQ so far.

Will it be possible in some future version to post several images into one article? Or is there some kind of workaround?

I love this plugin, but I dont know if it's the solution for my problem.

I am wating for this feature. After adding this, the PhotoQ will be perfect.

I tried cronjobs on a live site, I set post a photo every 5 minutes. Then I got host company's warning, it takes too many server resources.

So the best way is to add a post option.

P.S. I'd like to test your beta code, can you send it to me? my email: [removed by whoismanu]

jesse,

the next update of photoq that i am currently testing for release (i.e. it won't be long until it is published) has the option to post the entire queue at once (however, no option yet to post say, only 10 photos).
otherwise what you might be able to do right now is for example set up several cronjobs to run one after the other, each posting one photos.

Hello,

Great plugin. I am customizing it on my local machine. I have a question, How to batch post? e.g. post 10 photos or 20 photos at one time. I have lots of photos, post one by one is too slow.

Thanks,
Jesse

:) Ok - CSS works now! Thanks for that!

Well - for the database meddling - the main reason for me was, that I re-uploaded the image in the main folder, not aware of the original Folder, something that has been changed since the last time I actively looked closer at PhotoQ. So nothing changed and because the image was basically cut in it's display, my last resort was editing the wp-post entry for that post.
Now, that everything is set to work correctly, I probably will not encounter that problem again anyway.
For the locking issue - I hope you will find a way around that, because it's way too restrictive, or better said - a control that I really don't care for or want to see.
If I wouldn't get quite a lot of comments, I otherwise would have deleted the post entirely and reposted it.
Not being able to delete whatever I want, when I want is truly bugging me. Fortunately that issue comes up very rarely.
For now - all major issues are resolved I guess.

Thanks a bunch!
Cheers, Klaus

klaus,

my mistake for the css. sorry. try this it should work:

.photoQImg
{
display:block;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}

aargh, don't touch the database, it is not meant to be touched... ;-). and i still don't get why you would want to change the width/height attribute of an <img> tag (through the database or visual editor). again, to me resizing should be done by changing the actual image file not by having the browser resize it.

concerning locking:
1. yes it is a side effect and it reverts back because photoq reverts it back. photoq does so because it tries to keep the img tag in the content in sync with the image file on the server (see comment 16). it knows to which image file on the server a post belongs through the photoQPath custom field (see comment 18).
2. it puts it back after you delete it because it assumes that a photo post without a photo doesn't make a lot of sense and that you thus deleted it by mistake. to replace a photo with another one the way to go is what i describe in comment 18 until i come up with a better way (along the lines of what i also describe in comment 18, or sth different if anyone has a better idea).
3. yes, if you want photoq is controlling, see above under 1. and 2.

I'm not quite sure if that would be, what I need.
By the way - I just went into the database wp_post table and changed the image dimensions there. ;)

I still can't get my mind wrapped around the locking thing. Is it a side effect of something else? Why does it revert back - even after I deleted the img tag entirely? That is my main issue - for unless there is something "controlling" the posts content, that should not happen at all.

By the way - I inserted the CSS snippet into my main CSS File , but portrait format images stay left aligned.

Thank you for the time you take, to get this sorted out! :)
