PhotoQ WordPress Photoblog Plugin Update 1.2.2

This update is a major bugfix for PhotoQ 1.2 WordPress Photoblog Plugin. Anyone using PhotoQ 1.2 or higher should perform the update as it also fixes some security related issues.

This update fixes the following issues:

  • Ajax queue ordering now also works with filenames that include a dash.
  • The header of the queue can no longer be dragged around.
  • Ajax queue manipulations should now correctly authenticate user.
  • Cookies are no longer sent around in vain in Ajax calls.

Thanks to everyone who helped me find these bugs. Special thanks to Niels for patiently helping me track down the nastiest of above bugs.

    dade,

well for wordpress, i guess you can find instructions and/or help on codex.wordpress.org (they have instructions on backing up, cf below, so i guess you will also find instructions somewhere on how to recover afterwards). before touching wordpress, you may want to try to completely uninstall and freshly reinstall photoq (you will loose the photos in your queue of course + you might have to reenter photoq optiosn): backup your database if you haven’t done so yet, you never know (instructions: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups). Then clear your queue, manually remove any photos photoq doesn’t remove from the qdir. don’t touch your imgdir, you don’t want to screw up already posted entries! deactivate the plugin. remove it from the server. drop any tables with “photoq” in their name from the wordpress database using phpmyadmin. shouldn’t be necessary but to be sure you can also delete any entry in the wp_options table that starts with “wimpq” to remove the photoq options (again with phpmyadmin). reinstall photoq following instructions on my webpage. hope this helps.

This is a brand new install locally on my laptop with XAMPP and WP2.5.

Any ideas how to fix this ?
